Losi MRC Pro Mods No3! [Mods - Front Servo and Upper Links]
Same as rear upper link mount, I have mod the front upper link plate! Not only my MRC Pro, but also many people had problems with braking the upper link mount. Need to make it stronger!
Here are the ways how I mod the MRC to my favorite MRC!!
First, take off the stock steering servo!!
Can you see my upper link mount is already broken!
Taking off everything! Same as MRC.
Take carbon plate, draw where to cut. Cut loughly first!
Using the diamond cutter to cut the carbon is the best and easy way!
Size is just right! Drilling the hole from the next step!!
Drilled and I have mounted the steering servo to make sure the servo mount just right place!
Again, draw the cut line, will cut again to make the plate better shape!
Just finish cutting the plate and drilled the holes!
Screw the upper links with 2mm flathead screws!
I had problems with the shape, plate and upper links hit and didnt move smoothly. Again I will cut!
Here we go! Best shape and susupension moves smooth!
Put on the steering servo!
I put CCBEC10A(Doesnt look like, but it is!) on the bottom side of the plate!
I used XR10 steering parts. It was just good length!
Mods the wires, very flat and I could put it on the side of the MRC gearbox!
Spur = 65T48P, Pinion = 12T48P, I need to change, it was too high geared.
Done! Cut the body and lower the body mount, just need to cut the body post!
Thats all! I forgot to think about where to mount the battery!! This is a problem. I will have to think about it!
More you mod your rig, more love to your rig!!
