Range Rover body with Axial Racing SCX10-II Kit Version Mods! Vol.1
I got my Range Rover body! so I'm going to built my Rnage body and give mods to my Axial Racing SCX10-II!
This time with Range body, I want it to looks good and runs good!
Current spec:
1. I have sanded and try to make all smooth for the paint!
2. I found stone look spray at hardware store, and it looks so good!
3. To make it different look, its so usable.
4. I also painted to the inside of the rear gate!
5. Still sanding, and looks good now!
6. I also sanded roof. cut line is now almost nowhere!
7. To refresh my preparation of the painting, I made front grill!
8. I have painted! Camel Yellow is the best selection!
9. Stone look spray looks so nice when paint are done!

11. During the paint and dry process, I start to mod the Axial SCX10-II chassis!
12. Removed the battery tray.
13. Im going to re-layout front section.
14. I reverse mounted the center transmission!
15. Derlin plate is what I am going to use!
16. I cut it to fit chassis, its chassis brace.
17. Doing tap, use spiral tap for this kind.
18. I am going to re-position the steering servo.
19. Original chassis brace is also for the steering servo mount!
20. Measuring the length of the shock towers.
21. Aluminum post between the shock mounts!
22. I did it to rear too!
23. All necessary items are in the front section! Good crawling!
24. Finishing up the battery mount style.
25. I am going to mount battery tray here.
26. I cut the stock battery mount and screw it into!
27. Front section done!
28. I need to make transmission mount.
29. Star making transmission mount!
30. Done! I bend and cut and drill holes!
31. Secure mount transmission!
32. Painting main color is done!
33. Painting wheels too! Good color!
34. Now, I am going to paint roof!
35. I painted flat black!
36. I also painted the lenses, but I checked web pictures and panted, but the body rear lens divide are different from the pictures of the tail lens on webpages.
37. I also detailed up the front grill!
38. Most of the part are done! I have installed windows.
39. I have used a lot of time for sanding the rear section, but putty shrank and now I could see the cut line again.... Oh, well, its ok...
40. Main part are done, I put it together!
Range Rover project is still going, waiting for the interior to be arrive. I need some detail painting and put some mirrors and so on! But I cant wait to run this rig!!
