VP Currie F9 & Micky Thompson Wheel install!
This time, I will customize install with VP Currie F9 Portal axles and Micky Thompson Wheels!
Items which has trouble installing
1.First of all, I have re-assembled the wheels.
2.VP Currie F9 Portal axle has XVD already installed, so the shaft diameter is 5mm, so I drilled out the wheel center holes to 5mm.
3.And now I am ready to cut inside of the wheels!
4.This is how I have cut inside!
5.Now the wheels can not install tires with 6 screws!
6.I decided not to hole 7mm to the wheels, I cut 12mm Hex hub.
7. Tried to install, there are no problems at all!
8. All wheels are cut, done!
9.I also made hub can fit 5mm shaft.
10.Right one is done, left one is stock.
11.Miniatuer Hex bolts are not strong screws, so I used slightly longer M2-8mm screws to start installing bead rings.
12. Longer screws are so easy to start installing bead rings with tight tires.
13. Done installing tires to the custom Micky Thompson wheels! Check out the center cap too!
14. Looks so close, but no problems at all!
15. Front and rear, looks so good!
